Britain is a byword for business excellence. Britain’s plethora of market leaders across the full spectrum of industries and the longstanding worldwide reputation for innovation have not gone unnoticed, with China recognising these strengths. In 2016, two-way trade between the UK and China exceeded £59 billion.
Organised by the British Chamber of Commerce Beijing, the British Business Awards recognises and promotes excellence in innovation, enterprise and endeavour in the British and Chinese business communities. The biennial awards have grown to become a prestigious feature of the business calendar, and consisting of nine categories. The awards showcase a number of organisations and individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to trade and investment in China. This year, the Gala Dinner, at which the awards are presented, will be on 15 November 2018.
The awards this year are supported by The Foreign and Commonwealth Office, The Department for International Trade, the China-Britain Business Council, The Confederation of British Industry, The British Council, The British Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, The British Chamber of Commerce in Guangzhou and The British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China.
