Diageo is the world’s leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of beverage alcohol brands across spirits, beer and wine. Trading in approximately 180 markets, Diageo employ over 25,000 talented people around the world with offices in 80 countries.  Established in Shanghai in 2002, Diageo Greater China has grown to become a leading international drinks company in the country. Its key brands in China include Johnnie Walker, Windsor, Baileys, and Smirnoff.  Diageo has acquired a 53% stake in Sichuan Chengdu Quanxing Group Co., Ltd with hopes of accelerating the globalisation of Chinese white spirits for the enjoyment of consumers around the world. Fired Up Corporation

Fired Up Corporation is a vertically integrated manufacturer with wholly owned production facilities in China and the UK. Operating through four brand companies its products are sold in over 50 countries throughout the world. Fired Up specialise in electrical assembly, heating and cooling products with a strong focus on the home, hotel and hospitality markets. In China, Fired Up is the leading manufacturer of fires and fireplaces, specialising in OEM and own brand manufacture for many international companies as well as supplying sizeable retailers with Fired Up branded products for direct retail. Full vertical integration and international ISO approval demonstrates and ensures value and quality for its customers and consumers alike. IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group)

IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) is the world’s largest hotel company by number of rooms, with over 4,500 hotels offering 661,000 rooms in nearly 100 countries and territories. IHG was one of the earliest international hotel operators that entered the Chinese market, when they opened a Holiday Inn hotel in Beijing in 1984. Today, IHG is the largest international hotel group in the country, with 170 hotels opened in over 60 cities. As the largest employer in China’s hospitality industry, they now have 52,000 talented employees in Greater China. IHG has a portfolio of well recognised and respected hotel brands in China: InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express, which have been setting benchmarks for hospitality standards nationwide. In March 2012, IHG launched the world’s first-ever international upscale hotel brand designed specifically for the Chinese consumer, HUALUXE Hotels and Resorts.


The University of Nottingham

In 2004, the University of Nottingham established a campus in Ningbo, China. This was the first legally approved Sino-foreign joint venture in higher education. Launched in conjunction with the Wanli Education Group, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) is an integral part of The University of Nottingham, offering UK degrees taught entirely in English. Developed on a campus occupying 144 acres, the establishment of UNNC with the full support of the Chinese Government marked an historic moment in the opening up of Chinese Higher Education and its development of the knowledge-based economy. Starting with 260 students, UNNC now has a total student population of 5385 including 450 post-graduate students.
